Nickel Pickle and Loosey Goosey
Rhyming Pairs
One graphic image and one collaged image depicting a pair of rhyming words visually. The images above demonstrate the rhyming pairs "Loosey Goosey"(left) and "Nickel Pickle"(right). This project consisted of multiple stages of investigation and planning including brainstorming sketches and multiple rough and final finishes. From the sketches, we explored how each of the two chosen rhyming pairs could be presented as either collage or graphic imagery. Although I have more experience in the realm of photo collage, I was more pleased by the result of the graphic and illustrative images because it was more challenging and felt more rewarding to come to my final product.
